Tweet: Will Bill O'Brien become 2014's successful Chip Kelly? Hardly, he has not experienced the kind of success that Ck had at Oregon.

More: O'Brien had fawning press at Penn State over two years, but I am not convinced he is head NFL coach material. We will see.

Tweet: "Word Crimes" by Weird Al Yankovic.  For those of you who want to communicate effectively, Weird Al identifies those areas that are problematic.  Thanks to Anna Elias for this link.

Funny, albeit true.

This story was a woeful attempt at journalism:

Tweet: Sorry Graham Spanier, a somewhat flattering profile is not going to undo the damage that the Sandusky case has wrought upon a major university. You need to go through a penitential process, and that occur will the upcoming trial of the "PS Three."

The quote that supports that is this one: "The case against Spanier is at best problematic, at worst fatally flawed." If that was an opinion piece, but in a news profile, it is inappropriate. The case does have issues and some of it may be thrown out, but the e-mail trail against Graham remains strong: the "humane" way to treat Jerry Sandusky is by not reporting this to authorities.

Corbett loves to tout his "pro-life" credentials, but he is taken to task by Bishop David Zubik:

Tweet:
Pittsburgh Bishop Zubik explains to Corbett what being "pro-life" really means: Christian

Corbett is like Antonin Scalia and the other Cafeteria Catholics on the right. Abortion is wrong, taking a human life with capital punishment is okay. In this case, have no mercy on the poor children at the border. Hypocrites.
